I really believe Reid should be removed office. When I voted for him, I was led to believe he would do certain things and I feel that "it's a bait and switch-type" of situation. He says he speaks for the people but he does not speak for me. I feel he has a political agenda that undermines our troops and is using them as a political pawn. I personally believe he is doing more harm than good when it comes to the war in Iraq. He continually says we need to leave the war in Iraq but does not provide any reasonable way of getting out of Iraq. He said, "the war is lost," for the whole world to see on television, for all the military families who have lost loved ones in Iraq to see. What kind of message does this send to our men and women who volunteered to serve in Iraq? They are they to help the Iraqi people, to have a country that they can live in without fear of persecution and have the rights of freedom. Reid continually fights the funding of troops that are there. I truly believe that this is really about the 2008 election and not about the well-being of our men and women in the military. To say the war is lost is to say that our brothers and sisters died in Iraq for nothing. I cannot believe this Senator is from a military state, to be used by the Democrats to gain the oval office. I think that all Nevadans should ask for him to be removed from office. I hope that anything that anyone says on this blog does not offend any families of military personnel who are currently serving or have served in Iraq. That is not what this is meant for. Whether you agree with the war or not, we are still at war. We cannot leave Iraq until the Iraqi government can hold it for themselves because I believe that Iran and other countries could overtake that country and make it a stronghold for more terrorists' acts against other countries.
